When we first met Christ, we didn’t know it wasn’t just about meeting Him .As we have continued to know and follow Him, we see the restoration taking place in human form.
Restoration is man fully alive.
We have passed through the desert of the soul and renewed our minds, aligning with the mind of Christ.
“Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness…” — Deuteronomy 8:2
“He brought me into a spacious place…” — Psalm 18:19
Then we are given the opportunity to be restored—like living stones, with mercy as the foundation, grace as the gift, and trust and dignity restored within us.
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house…” — 1 Peter 2:5
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” — Psalm 118:22
Truth was given over time, and freedom came with it. With every step toward His face, we became clearer as we are restored in His image.
“When He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” — 1 John 3:2
We are being restored into His image now—and yet there is a fullness still to be revealed.
To see the Son is to see the Father.
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being…” — Hebrews 1:3
When Christ is revealed, so also will the first fruits.
“When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” — Colossians 3:4
The appearing—the Second Coming of Christ—was and always has been the goal of the born-again believer. This gives us the responsibility to run the race and complete the course set before us.
No excuses will be made at the end by those who did not do the work we were always ordained to do.
