Spirit Only

STEPPING IN

Stepping into the Holy Spirit has been a process of elimination — the stripping away of the fallen human condition until what remains comes completely from the Spirit within.

To test oneself is not to measure outward behaviour, but to ask the question of God:

Where in me is still living in the fallen condition?

Not hidden from Him — but revealed to me.

Because what remains unseen remains untouched.

And what remains untouched continues to live.

This is not a gentle process.

It confronts every agreement made with the old nature — every reaction, every thought, every place where the flesh still speaks and is obeyed.

The Spirit does not negotiate with it.

It exposes it.

Not to condemn—but to remove.

Because the goal is not improvement.

It is elimination.

Until there is no division between what is of God and what is of man.

Until the source is no longer mixed—as a compromised church.

Jesus Christ was man fully alive—and He only did what the Father did.

So the question remains:

What is still in me or in you that does not come from the Father?

We identify with the outward man as our identity—

fat, skinny, old, young, gay, straight, kooky, disabled,or even the disease we have taken on as our own.

But God does not see this.

God sees the heart.

So why can’t we?

“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7
