Our existence transcends time as we embark on a temporary earthly voyage. We existed before this time, and we will continue to exist after time. The gift is time! Many people talk about being time-poor or feeling like time is running short. Another saying, I have plenty of time up my sleeve. Numerous people live their lives without any regard for the passing of time.
The Scripture teaches us the importance of numbering our days to attain wisdom. Make us be glad according to the days You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil. Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands (Psalm 90:12-17).
We previously talked about how the works on earth are considered vanity. What if you could transcend the limits of what you’ve observed on earth? Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God is capable of doing far more than we can imagine.
Envision two distinct worlds: the one inside your day and the one inside yourself. Now picture a world beyond those two worlds, where our Lord resides. Our Lord has witnessed to our lives, but we are running short of seeing beyond into His life. We have observed His nature and emotions, yet His way of life remains unseen. I will dwell among my people (Exodus 29:45).
We had to surpass the limitations imposed by human thoughts, Christianity, and other communities. We are now liberated to explore the depths of our Lord’s gaze. To step into His sanctuary. Once more, the scripture holds true: open up your gates and welcome the king of glory (Psalm 24:7). Clear a path within yourself for Him to enter your body. In Romans 12, the scripture tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice.
Rejection and exclusion have been a constant in our lives. Despite undergoing a ‘Born Again’ experience. The Lord warns that if I am rejected, so will you be rejected. Despite the tremendous effort we put into overcoming our inherent shortcomings, we were still left out and set aside. I had an evening recently where I felt included, and freedom of expression was valued. I didn’t encounter any resistance or dismissal like I have in the past. I experienced the Lord’s beauty, and people observed and remarked upon it.
To truly understand, we must change our perspective on our bodies. Our bodies have acted as our vehicles, source of nourishment, and outlet for expression. We believe in the body’s natural process because we are human. Nevertheless, there is a higher state beyond the limitations of the human body. There exists a body that has undergone a glorious transformation. The body we can rely on is the one belonging to the Lord. The glorified body. By redirecting our attention to a different existence, we can unlock the gateway to a fresh and extraordinary life beyond what we could hope or think.
