The Hidden Rise

For 100's of generations—centuries, in fact—men have overwhelmingly ruled on boards, in leadership councils, in religious hierarchies, political cabinets, and corporate tables. From ancient tribal councils to the modern boardrooms of governments and megachurches, the dominant voices have been male.

This is not to diminish the contributions of men, but to recognize a pattern: Power, decision-making, and “authority” have historically been shaped through a male lens.

  • In most major world religions, men have held the titles: priest, pastor, bishop, elder, rabbi, imam.

  • In politics, women only gained voting rights in the last 100–150 years in most places—and leadership positions followed even later.

  • In corporations, the glass ceiling still holds: as of recent data, only about 10% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women.

When it comes to boards—whether school boards, church boards, nonprofit boards, or corporate ones—men have often defined the values, the vision, the structure, and the rules.

And here’s the deeper question: What has that created? A world shaped by competition over collaboration. Hierarchy over harmony. Law over life. And in many spiritual communities, a God interpreted through the voice of masculine authority—often leaving the nurturing, intuitive, prophetic voice of the feminine divine pushed to the margins.

But times are shifting. The earth groans for balance. And the Spirit is calling forth those—not just women, but anyone who walks in surrender—to speak what hasn’t been allowed at the table for too long.

"The time of man's governance, built on systems of control, fear, and hierarchy, is drawing to a close. These were the works of the tree of knowledge—structures rooted in self-preservation, intellect divorced from spirit, and the illusion of separation from God. But now, a new governance is arising—not one that demands a seat at the table, but one that flows like living water through those who have been prepared in hidden places. It is not power seized, but authority bestowed—birthed through surrender, forged in wilderness, and carried by those led not by ambition, but by the Spirit of the Living God. These are not rulers in the old sense, but stewards of the new.

Carriers of holy fire. Vessels through which the Holy Spirit breathes life into community, into land, into every system and structure. This is a governance led by the Spirit, where the Tree of Life, not the tree of knowledge, sustains the hearts of future communities. It is time. The kingdom is within, and the kingdom is coming."
