THE GLORY RISES WITHIN — ARISE AND SHINE
Before time began, His glory hovered — unseen, unmeasured, waiting for its dwelling place. The Heavens declared it, the earth reflected it, yet the fullness of His glory was never meant to rest only upon us — it was destined to rise from within us.
The Glory Upon
There was a time when His glory descended as fire upon altars and clouds upon mountains. Moses’ face shone because he stood near it.Isaiah cried out beneath its weight, and the priests could not stand to minister. It covered the tabernacle by day and blazed through the night — a canopy of presence resting upon a chosen people.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1
Yet even then, this glory longed for a closer home.
The Glory Within
When the Word became flesh, the dwelling shifted. He entered not temples of stone but hearts of flesh. The veil tore, and the glory moved inward — no longer resting on the surface of man, but filling him with divine fire that does not consume.
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.” — Colossians 1:27
Now the treasure is hidden in earthen vessels — light sealed in clay until obedience cracks it open. Each yielding becomes a dawn. Each surrender a sunrise. The light that once surrounded now begins to rise from within.
The Glory Revealed
When the sons awaken, creation sees.Rivers flow from the innermost being. The earth, long waiting, lifts her head. The groaning of all things ends in one revelation — the glory that was sown now stands unveiled.
“The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that shall be revealed in us.” — Romans 8:18
And the voice that once called, “Arise, shine,”now whispers from within —“Awake, O sleeper. Rise from the dead.Let My light break forth through you.”
Arise — The Lifting
To arise is not to strive — it is to be lifted. The word arise means to stand, to be raised, to be established. It’s resurrection language. God doesn’t say, “Make yourself seen.” He says, “Stand up into who you already are.”
For many years, some have been covered — not rejected, but protected. Like a seed hidden in soil, being formed by stillness and humility. Now, that soil has opened. You are not leaving humility; you are emerging from it.Heaven is announcing, “You are ready to be seen.”
Shine — The Outflow
To shine is not reflection — it is outflow. You shine because the glory that once lived inwardly has reached fullness and now overflows.
This isn’t self-display; it’s divine visibility. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now reveals Himself through you. The glory is no longer above or beside you — it is upon you.
Your Light Has Come — The Timing
“For your light has come” signals divine timing. It means what was hidden is now visible. The word planted in secret has taken form in your life. This is not a visitation — it’s manifestation. The season of gestation is over. The dawn has broken.
The Purpose of Visibility
Being seen is not about recognition — it’s about revelation. When the glory becomes visible, others begin to see God, not you .You become a living sign of what surrender looks like in form. The light upon you becomes direction for others who are still in shadow.Your life becomes a map.
The Full Sequence
Glory Rises Within — inward transformation.
Arise, Shine — outward manifestation.
Glory Seen Upon You — divine reflection.
It’s the pattern of creation itself — light appearing from darkness, form following Spirit, visibility after hiddenness.
The Completion
No longer a visitation — but habitation. No longer a covering — but a becoming. The Heavens no longer descend to meet the earth; they rise through it. And man, made holy, stands once more as the image of God.
You are no longer obscure. The time of unseen obedience has served its purpose. Now, the Word you have eaten and become must be visible, for the world needs to see what holiness looks like when it stands in full light.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1
