Glory Restored

GLORY RESTORED

We have all fallen short of the glory of God,because love has been dammed off within us.

As it is written:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

People search for love in all the wrong places. They look to another to complete them, yet they still fall short of the love they are seeking.

Their days pass by, and the love within them remains pent up, unable to flow out.

Their feelings were never truly met because they did not know God well enough to understand where love truly comes from.

For God Himself is the source of love.

“God is love.” — 1 John 4:8

When we do not know Him, we search the world trying to find what can only come from Him.

But when we come to know Him, the love that was dammed within us begins to flow again.

For in Him we are made whole. We are made in His image and love is His image.

And when that love is restored within us, it does not remain still. It begins to move.

For the life of God was never meant to sit quietly within a person. It was meant to flow.

As Christ said:

“Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.” — John 7:38

Where the river flows, life appears again.

Dry places begin to soften. Hardened hearts begin to open. What was once held back begins to move outward.

Love that once searched to be filled from others now flows freely from within.

For the river of God was never meant to be dammed. It was meant to flow through the heart of a person and bring life wherever it goes.

And when love flows again, the glory of God is no longer something we fall short of. It begins to appear within us.

“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God.” — Romans 8:19
