 ORDER BEHIND ORDER

Perhaps the enormity of God becomes a little easier for our human minds to grasp when we look at the order He has revealed to us.

God upon His throne.

Christ at the right hand of the Father, interceding.

“He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25

The Holy Spirit at work within us.

Teaching. Leading. Convicting. Revealing. Transforming.

And then the angels—

“Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?”Hebrews 1:14

There is an Order behind the order.

The Father wills.

The Son intercedes.

The Spirit works within.

The angels minister according to God's purposes.

And somehow, within all of this, God never loses sight of one human being.

Not one.

Perhaps that is what overwhelms me most about the enormity of God.

Billions of lives are unfolding at this very moment, each one living a different story, walking a different road, exercising a different will—and heaven is not overwhelmed.

God knows everyone.

Every heart. Every road. Every resistance. Every beginning. Every ending.

“And behind everything we can see is a divine Order we cannot see.”

God's Order.

Perhaps that is part of the enormity of God:

He can hold the whole of humanity in His heart—without ever losing sight of one.
