Who I Am in Him
Not who I was.
Not who they said.
But who He formed before the world had fallen.
The return of what was — before the fall of mankind.
The stepping over into the other side of man — where spirit walks naked and holy in the gaze of God.
A blank canvas, waiting to reflect the image He first spoke.
Without Him, we are nothing.
But nothing can be made into something when we call to the One who formed the heavens and the earth.
All things were made for His glory, in His image.
We only have enough breath to whisper:
Come — restore the earth to Your glory.
"And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." John 17:5.
The Ache of Glory
"How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever?
How long will You hide Your face from me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul,Having sorrow in my heart daily?" — Psalm 13:1–2
Knowing what we know is a painful place to live.
Forget the wars outside — the greater ache is inside, where spirit waits within the confines of flesh.
Longing.
Groaning.
Remembering the glory before time began.
The pain is not just from the world, but from knowing you were made for something more — and standing, alone, in the stillness, waiting for the moment He comes to clothe you again with that glory.
“...we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.”
