Born of Flesh, Raised in Glory
Jesus came in flesh — born into an ordinary family.
So were we.
But He showed a way beyond the flesh.
Through the cross.
Into the grave.
Out the other side — clothed in glory.
This is the path for the sons and daughters of God: to overcome the fallen nature. To pass through the death of the flesh. To lie still in the tomb — until the Spirit who raised Jesus breathes life into mortal bodies (Romans 8:11).
This is glorification — the redemption of the body (Romans 8:23). When the corruptible puts on incorruption. When the mortal puts on immortality (1 Corinthians 15:53).
In His first coming — God dwelt with man in one body.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).
In His second coming — He will dwell in many.
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them” (Revelation 21:3).
When He appears — we shall be like Him. For we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2).
Man — fully alive.
Walking the earth as Jesus walked. The glory that once filled One — now filling many.
The sons brought to glory (Hebrews 2:10).
The first coming revealed the Pattern.
The second coming is Christ in many — sons and daughters raised in glorified flesh, man fully alive, walking the earth as Jesus walked.
But we will not see this second coming until the seventh trumpet blows. The mystery of God — Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27) — will be finished at the sounding of the seventh trumpet (Revelation 10:7; 11:15).
The Lord’s Commission — Habakkuk 2:2–3
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
