Stages of Faith

 Crossing Our Own Seas

Moses stood at the Red (Reed) Sea and lifted his staff to the God who gave His people a way of escape. The raising of the staff was his faith. And when his arm grew weary, others came and held it high. Soon the waters parted, Israel crossed through, and their enemies were swallowed up and wiped out.

So it is with us. Each of us faces seas that must part — enemies that stand upon the very land the Lord has sworn to give us. But the choice is ours: will we stand as Moses did, with our hand of faith held high, refusing to let it fall?

Faith is not a mere word. It is an act that rises from deep within the spirit. To human reason it may look strange, but it is the way of the Lord.

At first, faith often trembles. Fear tries to cling to it, because we have not walked this path before. But as the years unfold, trust in God grows stronger. What once quivered now stands firm, and the peace that surpasses understanding takes root within us.

For those who want to see the way — there is a way.

The Three Stages of Faith

Stage 1–Stand in Trust Hold firmly to the right Hope — the hope that does not disappoint. With your hand lifted high in faith, stand secure and unwavering.

Stage 2–The Lord Fights for You Be still and know that the Lord Himself goes before you. He rises on your behalf, chases off your contenders, and fights the battle that belongs to Him, not you.

Stage 3–Praise & Thanksgiving The final thread to receiving the promise is praise and thanksgiving. Today is the day to step into receiving. With your hand still lifted high, let unceasing praise and thanks flow — for praise brings heaven to earth and makes the promise real.

By His grace and mercy, His holy angels are already carrying forth the good news to you.
