As He declared, seek God’s Kingdom. Within you lies the Kingdom of God. Miracles, signs, and wonders, I’ve seen them all, but what will His Kingdom look like when it arrives from heaven?
That space between sleep and wakefulness, I journeyed through the Kingdom of God. The experience was like piloting a drone from above. No lights were on, and no people were visible. Overgrown vegetation made the buildings look deserted, dark, and eerie. Upon waking, I exclaimed, “That can’t be the Kingdom!” Then a new word dropped into my spirit.
The sense of knowing we hadn’t come far enough to uncover and bring alive the Kingdom was present. We have everything we need here on earth, yet we focus on our earthly possessions and good works rather than God’s kingdom. Overcoming our flawed nature is essential for turning those lights on in the kingdom. As we conquer ourselves, we progress from one level of glory to the next, yet the City of God was deserted. The inner light switch remains untouched by anyone so far on earth.
Most people who believe and do good deeds see that as serving God. They might have prioritized seeking God’s consent before undertaking those tasks. But that’s not His kingdom; it’s God working within you. However, you often hear them claim they serve the Kingdom. It’s just in-group chatter meant to boost themselves in the eyes of others; it doesn’t reflect reality. This is confirmed by my own experience of running a motel for homeless men, where I believed I was doing a good work. It wasn’t until I left that I realized God was doing good work for me.
God’s blessing allows your progression towards His glory; however, the Kingdom remains unattained. People believe they serve the Kingdom, but the King serves them. The King is granting you greater access to illuminating the true kingdom within.
To introduce a new worldview, one needs to seek a fresh revelation from God. And that new worldview needs the stamp of the King.
We need to challenge our assumptions about God’s Kingdom to fully grasp a truer reality. The New Jerusalem will start to appear from heaven, because it originates from you, not from your works. Your works bring you from glory to glory. If you do not run the race within yourself, you will be left behind with the dogs, sorcerers, and the sexually immoral.
It is on this day that you must choose who you will serve. Death or life!
