BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
We expect the land to stretch only so far, and the waves to kiss the edge of the shore.
We expect the cycle born, live, die — as though it were unshakable law.
But what if expectation gave way to the unexpected?
What if the boundaries shifted, the land swallowed by sea, and death — swallowed whole by life eternal?
What if the end was never the end, but the moment He broke through every man-made line and said:
Behold, I make all things new.
Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken."
1 Corinthians 15:54–55 "So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.''O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?'"
Some were never meant to return to dust — but to rise from it.
Not as we were, but as we were always meant to be — formed in glory, bearing the image of the One who formed us.
As sons and daughters of God.
Flesh glorified, not discarded. Body and spirit — finally one. Finally, whole.
Only the breath of God filling the frame He called very good.
We will not vanish. We will shine.
1 John 3:2 : "Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
