WHATS NEXT?

In the beginning there was an awakening of the spirit within called a Born Again experience. When you know without a shadow of a doubt that there is a God and His name is Jesus Christ.

This experience paved the way to know Him and His Word. With the delight of this new relationship, all you want to do is serve Him.

Until the day comes when He says,

“Follow Me.”

Following Him becomes a blind walk of faith. We do not know where He is taking us or what the journey will require. Along the way our trust is restored, our mind is renewed, and the things we once depended upon fall away.

Until the day comes, He brings us into a good and broad land.

There the seeking dose not end.

It changes.

We no longer seek the things of the world. We are no longer looking for something outside of Him to satisfy us.

We begin seeking a deeper relationship with Christ Himself.

Eventually, following Him becomes living with Him.

And this is where another part of the journey begins.

Not just knowing Him.

Not simply serving Him.

Not only following Him.

But abiding with Him.

His Word became established within us.

His way became our way.

His life increasingly became the life from which we live.

Our future. Our Word. Our way — the shared life.

Dwelling together.

Here on earth as it is in heaven.

It reminds me of the song I Can Only Imagine. But this next part will do more than imagine.

There comes another reality yet to be experienced.

After knowing Him, serving Him and following Him, there are depths of abiding with Him that can only be discovered by living with Him.

It's discovering more deeply what Jesus meant when He said,

“Abide in Me, and I in you.”

Dwelling together.

As one in Him.
