The Second Trumpet Has Passed
The Sea Turned to Blood —
“The second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea:and the third part of the sea became blood;and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died;and the third part of the ships were destroyed.” — Revelation 8:8–9.
What Happened?
A burning mountain was cast into the sea.
A third of the sea turned to blood.
A third of sea life perished.
A third of the ships were destroyed.
This trumpet strikes not the land, but the oceans — the lifeblood of trade, travel, and empire. What once brought wealth now bleeds. What once moved freely now groans in chains.
“A Great Mountain Burning with Fire”
“Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain… and will make thee a burnt mountain.”—
Jeremiah 51:25
Mountains in Scripture symbolize kingdoms or powers. This is no ordinary fall — it is a judgment by fire.
A great global structure — whether economic, political, or religious — has been cast down. And in the collapse, a new order quietly rises to manage the descent. Not in righteousness, but in response.
“The Sea Became Blood”
Just as in Egypt, the waters that once sustained life now speak of death.
The sea, symbolic of the masses and the world system, is polluted.
Blood represents a divine warning — a line crossed.
The very systems once trusted to stabilize now reveal a hidden cost. Life drains from the deep.
“A Third of the Ships Destroyed”
The world of trade is shaken:
Supply chains broken
Ports silent
Cargo adrift
Markets fractured
And yet, even in chaos, the world reaches for control — not holiness.
How Does This Speak to Now?
We are not waiting for this trumpet. Its sound has already echoed.
Global Trade Shaken (2020–2023)
Lockdowns revealed the fragility of global systems.
Shortages, stalled ships, rising prices.
Maps redrawn. Priorities reset.
But instead of repentance, the world reached for structure — not surrender.
Death in the Waters
Fish washing ashore
Coral reefs bleaching
Red tides and dark waters
The sea is groaning. Creation testifies.
The Fall of a Mountain
Who is the mountain?
Babylon — fallen pride
Western empire — destabilized
Global systems — exposed
What replaces it is swift, calculated, and precise — but not holy.
It Appears:
The First Trumpet burned the land — false coverings, and lofty men exposed.
The Second Trumpet shakes the sea — trade, empire, and economic pride brought low.
The oceans run red. Not only from death — but from divine interruption.
“The loftiness of man shall be bowed down…and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”—
Isaiah 2:17
