The Vision That Sustains

“Where there is no vision, the people perish…” — Proverbs 29:18

The meaning of life is not found in survival, success, or self-definition. It’s found in His vision — the revelation of what God is doing, and what He is forming in us.

Without that vision, we wander.

We shrink.

We perish.

But when we see as He sees — even faintly — life takes on holy purpose.

The meaning of life is this: To have faith in the glorification of the Lord — on earth as it is in heaven.

Not just to go to heaven, but to see heaven come into us. To be transformed into His image. To walk the pattern Christ revealed: death, burial, resurrection, and glory.

This is the vision that sustains. The vision that saves. The vision that restores life to the bones.

“But we all… beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory…” — 2 Corinthians 3:18
