Expressions of Him

"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." — Colossians 3:3–4

I believe the years of being set apart and learning to overcome were not an end in themselves. I believe they were preparation.

My hope is that God is forming a people who will serve under the headship of Christ in the purpose He has prepared. I entrust the fulfilment and the identity of that calling to Him.

As I look back over the journey, I do not see a life marked simply by sacrifice, but by invitation.

I believe that God was not seeking people who merely believed in Him, but people who would follow Him until nothing remained but relationship with the Father.

Every road I have walked, every loss I have endured, and every wilderness I have entered became part of that single pursuit.

Over time, I have come to see that the destination was never a place, a ministry, or a position. It was the centre of relationship with the Father through Christ.

Perhaps this has always been the Father's desire.

Before we become His dwelling place, He must become ours.

As He becomes our dwelling place, the striving begins to fade, the searching comes to rest, and what remains is not the pursuit of God, but life lived from Him.

If this journey has taught me anything, it is that relationship is both the path and the destination. Everything else is simply its expression.

I believe that a life lived in relationship with the Father through Christ is its own testimony. The journey is simply how we came to get there.
